Kalpak has a very interesting background. He is a Graduate in Electrical Engineering and has had formal training in business Management from the University of Toronto, Canada. He, in fact, worked as an Engineer and Management Consultant for many years but was destined to pursue an entirely different line of interest - Music.

He hails from a very renowned family and inherits deep sense of music from his parents Late Smt. Vijayaben Gandhi and Late Shri. Purushottambhai Gandhi.
